1.Who we are
LUMO is a mobile app that connects clients with independent professional photographers for booking, payment, messaging, and photo delivery. LUMO and the website at lumoapp.info are operated by 13 LUE LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“LUMO,” “we,” “us”).
This policy covers the LUMO app (iOS and Android) and this website. If you have any question about it, email support@lumoapp.info — a person reads it.
2.Information we collect
We collect only what the app needs to work. Specifically:
Account information
- Name, username, and email address when you create an account.
- Your city or general location, if you choose to provide it. During signup you can optionally use your device’s location once to fill in your city — we store the resulting city name, not your GPS coordinates, and we do not track your location in the background.
- If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email (or Apple’s private relay email) from that provider. We never see your Apple or Google password.
Profile content
- Profile and cover photos, bio, website link, and — for photographers — portfolio images, specialties, and service listings with pricing.
Bookings and transactions
- Booking details: the service booked, date, time, add-ons, amounts, tips, and booking status.
- Payment records: transaction amounts, status, and payment identifiers from our payment processor. Your card number never touches LUMO’s servers — it goes directly to Stripe (see Section 5).
Communications and reviews
- Messages you send to other users through in-app chat.
- Reviews you leave: client reviews of photographers are public; photographer ratings of clients are private (see Section 6).
- Messages you send us through the website contact form or by email.
Device and diagnostic information
- A push notification token for your device, if you enable notifications.
- Failure diagnostics: if something in the app breaks (for example, a sign-in error), we log the error details so we can fix it. These are error logs, not behavioral tracking.
3.What we don’t collect
- The LUMO app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not build behavioral profiles of you or track you across other apps or websites.
- This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics scripts.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4.How we use your information
- Running the marketplace — creating your account, showing photographer profiles in search, processing booking requests, and delivering photo galleries.
- Payments — placing the card hold when you request a booking, capturing it when the photographer accepts, refunding it when a booking is declined or cancelled, and paying photographers out.
- Communication — in-app messaging between clients and photographers, booking and gallery notifications, and account emails (verification, password reset).
- Trust and safety — reviewing photographer applications, maintaining ratings and reviews, and preventing fraud and abuse.
- Support and reliability — answering your support requests and using failure diagnostics to fix bugs.
- Legal compliance — keeping the transaction records we’re required to keep, and responding to lawful requests.
6.What other users can see
- Public photographer profiles — a photographer’s display name, username, photos, bio, city, specialties, services, pricing, and their client reviews and rating are visible to app users. That’s the point of a portfolio.
- Client reviews of photographers are public. Your name and review text appear on the photographer’s profile.
- Photographer ratings of clients are private. They are not published on a public profile; they inform photographers who receive a booking request from that client.
- Booking counterparts — when you book (or accept a booking), the other person sees your name, profile photo, and the booking details. Photographers do not see your payment card information, ever.
- Messages — visible only to the people in the conversation (and to us where needed for support, safety, or legal reasons).
7.Push notifications
If you allow notifications, we store a push token for your device and use it to tell you about things that matter: booking requests and confirmations, new messages, and delivered galleries. You can turn notifications off any time in your device settings; the app keeps working without them.
8.Retention & deleting your account
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account directly in the app (no email required, no hoops).
When you delete your account:
- Your personal data — profile, photos, and account information — is deleted.
- Completed and cancelled transaction records are retained in anonymized form. The other party to a booking keeps their booking history and receipts, and we keep what tax, payment, and other laws require us to keep — but that retained history is no longer linked to your identity.
- Stripe retains transaction records under its own legal obligations as a regulated payment processor.
9.Your rights & choices
- Access and correction — you can view and edit your profile and account information in the app at any time.
- Deletion — delete your account in-app (Section 8), or email us and we’ll do it for you.
- Copies and questions — to request a copy of your data, or to exercise any privacy right you have under the laws of your state (including Texas), email support@lumoapp.info. We’ll verify it’s you and respond within the time your state’s law requires.
- Location — sharing your city is optional, and the one-time “use my location” option at signup is entirely up to you.
- Notifications — controllable in your device settings (Section 7).
10.How we protect your information
- All data moves between your device and our systems over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
- Database access is restricted with row-level security — users can only read the data the app intends them to see.
- Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified payment processor. LUMO never stores card numbers.
No system is perfectly secure, and we can’t promise otherwise — but if we learn of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you as required by law.
11.Children
LUMO is not directed at children. You must be old enough to form a binding contract to use LUMO, and in no case may anyone under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher bar for consent) create an account. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
12.Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way — for example, collecting a new category of data or adding a processor — we’ll update the date at the top and notify you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use LUMO after that means you accept the updated policy.
